How to Edit WooCommerce My Account Page > Dashboard

Woocomerce Edit my account page dashboard

It is amazing how WordPress and WooCommerce are well built with easy to use and very customizable features. If you observe the My Account Page of, you will see that it has a very different dashboard from the Default WooCommerce My Account Page Dashboard.

This is because I tweaked the Default WooCommerce My Account Dashboard Page PHP Script with some code tricks which I’m about share with you. Thanks to (@ashukarwar) and (@srjlulla) who shared very useful solutions on this topic in the WordPress Support Forum.

For you to change the Write-up, Links and other content found in the Woocomerce My Account Dashboard Page, you need to:

  1. Copy /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/my-account/dashboard.php file (or download from Github).
  2. Make a /wp-content/themes/YOUR-ACTIVE-THEME/woocommerce/myaccount directory structure. Ignore this step if the directory already exists.
  3. Upload the dashboard.php to myaccount directory, then you can edit the file to make any changes.

The reason why we’re creating a copy instead of editing right there is to retain our changes from future updates.
